Pieces of Home

Pam, an abstract artist, finds her muse amidst the serenity of the forest, nestled among towering mountains and lush trees. Her journey led her across various corners of the globe until she discovered her true sanctuary in Northern Montana, where she declared, "I've found my heart's home."

Each of Pam's creations serves as a window into her memories, both existing and imagined. Her art seamlessly blends elements of abstraction with hints of representation, capturing the essence of her experiences in a mesmerizing dance between the known and the unknown.

Beginning with a chaotic flurry of marks and layers of paint, Pam's process is a testament to her unwavering determination. Guided by her intuition and aided by an array of tools such as brayers and squeegees, she harnesses the raw energy of her surroundings to shape her vision. Working predominantly with oil and cold wax on meticulously crafted birchwood panels, Pam infuses each piece with the essence of her newfound woodland existence.

Her works are contemporary marvels, each one bearing a distinct subject and emotional resonance, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of introspection and discovery.
