Jean Driescher - Art Educator

Jean Driescher is an artist and retired art educator with over 30 years of experience working with adults and youth in Arizona and Montana.

It is her goal to coordinate and teach an art program for all ages and provide a developmentally appropriate and enjoyable art experience. Through her workshops and private lessons any person can learn basic skills or build on existing art work.

Independent Study

Classes designed for age and medium with student’s goals in mind.

Any Adult or Youth in need of skill or creative development, this program would be ideal. Whether you are a home school student or an aspiring artist of any age, hourly workshops with the attention of an art mentor and teacher would be an excellent option.

Cost is $25 an hour

Jean has a background education in art therapy and although she is not clinically certified as an art therapist, she does use her knowledge to help artists grow artistically stronger by using art processes to reduce stress and increase overall wellness.

Her strategies include sketchbook/journaling for all her students and positive interactive art discussions. Students will be encouraged to write art statements and display their work. To gain confidence in their efforts. Its fun too!
