Amanda Wilner

“I love the materials of art making. I use drawing, printmaking, acrylic, oils and encaustic materials, often in combination,
to play and convey my visual statement. I feel satisfied when I have combined a modern abstract approach with traditional
painting or drawing techniques.”
- Amanda Wilner

Amanda has taught as an Adjunct Professor of Art at the University of Michigan. She now lives in Corvallis, Montana with her husband and two girls.

“There is a sculpture-like essence to her paintings: a singularity and a completeness. It’s as if Wilner has painted the sides and the back of the piece although no one can see it.” - Michele Corriel
