Mariah Schneeberger

artist statement

“Mariah uses mainly pen and charcoal to draw animals and geometric patterns. The collection of earrings all feature different size prints of her original artwork.

Each earring uses seven layers of paper, making them super light-weight. To create the base, 5 layers are cut and glued of mixed-media paper.

The edges are sanded and painted before the last layers are added. The final two layers are the prints of Mariah’s artwork which are then seal ed with a gloss varnish.
